OAL official meets with Fremont football team over voiding season scores

Oakland Athletic League commissioner Michael Moore held a two-hour meeting with members of the football team on Nov. 15 over the league’s decision to end Fremont’s football season and cancel the Nov. 11 homecoming game versus Castlemont.
According to the Oakland Tribune, the OAL forced Fremont to forfeit its last three wins. The school had four ineligible players.
Coach Isamu Falevai said school officials found other schools also had ineligible players, but were not penalized.
